Most recently CEO at Pamoja Education, a B2B and B2C provider of online courses for the IB, GCSE and A levels. Managed the sale to Faria Education in 2020.

Earlier career in corporate technology including banking, utilities and telecoms.

I’ve been involved in training for over a decade now and I can honestly say the sector has never been so exciting. With new technologies now being applied to every aspect of training delivery, including teaching learning, and management compliance, the sector is progressing at breakneck speed.

Having worked as a trainer and an assessor, I’ve experienced first-hand the difference that high quality teaching makes to a person’s life and I am passionate about improving learner outcomes. As Chief Operating Officer at Bud, I’m keen to make sure every customer maximises the benefits of our platform, so that they can improve efficiencies across their businesses and devote more time to their learners and improving their outcomes.

Being at Bud has given me the chance to work with a team who share my passion for quality delivery, my own knowledge and skills have developed rapidly because the culture here is so positive, we all want the best for our customers and their learners.

Significant experience providing technical direction and leading successful multi-disciplined engineering teams, both in growing SMEs and at scale.

I’ve joined Bud after a 13 years of working in the Education and Training sector within Independent Training Providers.  As a previous board member and leader of finance teams and support functions including data, IT, HR and compliance, I am able to bring a wider insight and experience to the strategic direction and business partnering for the growing business, alongside the financial stewardship expected from the CFO.

Prior to this I have worked in finance within the Construction and Media industries.  I gained my Chartered accountant qualification with PwC and later completed an MBA.

Having worked within high growth Private Equity businesses it’s fantastic to have joined Bud as it continues to develop as the market leader.

Having worked in commercial roles in Education technology for the past 15 years, I am well placed to lead the Sales and Marketing teams to support the next stage of growth via a new go-to-market strategy. I have a proven track record in driving marketing effectiveness, sales excellence and, ultimately, sustainable revenue growth.

Having been an apprentice myself, I know first hand the benefits of apprenticeships to learner and employer, and I’m delighted to be able to support training providers in their apprenticeship delivery.
