Providers will need to create their own rubrics and map them to activities within Bud. This provides trainers with complete control of what Bud Mark assesses against within any activity.

Yes, a rubric can be linked to many activities, and that activity can be applied to many Programmes.

This varies based on the assessment and submission that is being marked. However, in our testing Bud Mark generates feedback in around 20 seconds.

An assessment activity is set up at programme level and the activity is linked to a rubric. When a learner submits work against this activity, the Trainer will then have the option to send the submission to Bud Mark. We are considering making this automation an option in the future after obtaining more user feedback on the solution. We are keen to keep the Trainer involved in the feedback review before it is automated to the learner at this early stage.

Bud Mark securely processes all data within UK-based data centres. It uses Supabase, a trusted UK-based backend provider, and Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service, hosted exclusively within the UK for Bud's specific use. All AI-generated responses are reviewed and approved by human reviewers within your organisation, before being applied.
Documents are only stored temporarily during the feedback process and are permanently deleted immediately afterward. Bud Mark's AI does not retain any data or use it to train or improve models. For more detailed information, please refer to Bud’s Privacy Policy.
