Head of Marketing
Bud is a world-class SaaS platform at the heart of organisations, driving the skills agenda in post-16 education. Founded in 2017 to serve the apprenticeship training market, Bud manages over 80,000 users across an enviable portfolio of training providers and employers. We have recently invested further in our proposition, with venture capital support, to capitalise on the expansion of funded qualifications in the UK.
Currently growing at c. 30% per annum, we are looking for a commercially focused, strategic Head of Marketing to lead the development and execution of high-impact GTM strategies that drive customer acquisition, brand growth and sales success in a competitive SaaS environment.

As the head of Marketing, you will own the creation and delivery of compelling value propositions, shape our market positioning and ensure sales teams are equipped with the insights, content and collateral they need to convert pipeline into growth.
This is a critical role at the heart of our growth strategy and requires a true player manager - someone as comfortable planning big picture strategy, as they are designing and implementing as needed.

- Develop and refine our core value propositions.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints – website, campaigns, sales materials and communications and monitor industry conversations to maintain relevance and trusted partner status.
- Use data and insight to inform campaign direction and optimise performance.
- Define and execute the GTM plans for new products, features and market segments.
- Build and maintain a library of sales enablement content: pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards by persona and competitor, case studies.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, insightful content to deliver multichannel campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Act as the strategic link between Marketing, Sales & Product to drive commercial success.
- Present regularly to senior leadership on marketing impact and GTM performance.
Do you have the Bud DNA, what we're looking for...
- Proven experience in a senior B2B SaaS marketing role, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrable experience organising and overseeing event attendance, maximising our return on sponsorship investment.
- Expertise in value proposition development, persona mapping, competitor analysis and customer journey design.
- Strong track record of developing and executing GTM strategies with measurable commercial outcomes.
- Deep understanding of sales enablement and the role of marketing in driving revenue.
- Excellent communicator with strong leadership presence and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within HubSpot, including the marketing automation functionality.
