Bud is looking for a Developer in Test or Automation Tester to join our fun, fast-paced QA team! You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplined Agile team, collaborating with Product, Development, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions for the Bud platform. Bring your skills to automate and improve the test and release process while contributing to cutting-edge projects. The role in a nutshell, you’ll be…

  • Collaborating closely with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software and continuously improve the test and release process through automation.
  • Conducting exploratory functional and non-functional testing, automating where it adds the most value.
  • Working alongside fellow testers and the Head of Test & QA to uphold best testing practices across the department.
  • Building efficient, practical, and scalable automation solutions.
  • Actively participating in team meetings and ensure all sprint testing is completed on time.
  • Partnering with developers to catch and resolve test failures early.
  • Ensuring all tests are executed effectively, with clear communication of results and statistics.

  • A developer with the ability to create comprehensive automated tests for smoke and regression testing suites.
  • Someone who builds reliable, efficient, and easy-to-maintain automated tests.
  • Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, and others.
  • A solid understanding of API technologies like RESTful and SOAP, with practical experience using tools such as Postman and Fiddler for testing.
  • A creative problem solver who develops resourceful solutions for testing challenging or
    'un-testable' scenarios.
  • A flexible team member, comfortable handling both manual and automated testing tasks.
  • Experience in testing, supporting, modifying, and maintaining code and systems developed by different teams.
  • Familiarity with code repositories (e.g., Git, SVN), bug tracking systems (e.g., Azure DevOps), and documentation tools (e.g., SharePoint).
