After Milburn: So, what now for providers?

Alan Milburn's final report on young people and work is expected in November. It follows his interim report, which found that nearly one million young people aged 16 to 24 are not in education, employment, or training. The government has said it will respond before the end of the year, with a White Paper early in 2027, ahead of legislation later that year.
